A backyard wedding surrounded by love, water, and the life promise of a new family was all my heart needed.

I am no shy to share how honored and privileged I feel to document some of the most especial and desitions of people's lives.

But, being there for Camila, a fellow Colombian, took my pride to a whole new level for being away from most of your family and the friends you grow up with is hard, very hard.

Marty and Camila are sweet people with an incredible love for each other. It is always beautiful to watch and be inspired by amazing couples.

Their gorgeous and intimate wedding took place in Daytona Beach Shores with the intercoastal in the backyard and the beach in the front!!

I could have spent all day taking their photos at many lovely places and spaces. Having an intimate wedding has so many plusses. One of my favorites is having more time for photos and time to enjoy the celebration and all the little moments that make wedding days extraordinary.

There are so many things that get me excited about weddings; love being number one, followed by vision and details, then glamour fed by my obsession and experience with fashion. I cannot help myself!!

So yeah, time to talk about how gorgeous, classy, and sophisticated Camila look in her wedding gown. The off-the-shoulder and mermaid fit and the comfy length of the cathedral trail allowed her to have a stunning look. Camila got her dress made by Maria Teresa Morales in Colombia in company of her mom, so Camila could feel closer to her mom and country. Who is not crying? 

Having their ceremony by the water and taking their couple's portraits by the beach in Daytona on a cloudy day is a dream for wedding photographers like me who crave opportunities to maximize the wedding photography experience!!
